Esterline Connection Technologies – Souriau receives 2015 Airbus Award in Electrics for Industrial Excellence for its performance as a supplier of connectivity solutions.

Just months after winning Airbus' Top Supplier Award, Esterline Connection Technologies – Souriau was chosen by Labinal Power Systems from among 450 suppliers as the recipient of its 2014 Best Overall Performance Award.

Esterline Connection Technologies – Souriau received a Strategic Excellence Award from Airbus in the category of electrical cables and components during a ceremony held in Toulouse, France, last 15 January. This is the seventh time since 2005 that the company has received an award from Airbus.

The SOURIAU (part of Esterline Connection Technologies) WME cable connector series is uniquely approved by the EN 16330 for both outside and inside cabin connectivity. This European Standard applies to power systems, drive implements and attachments such as street cleaning brushes, snow plows, etc. The purpose of this standard is to ensure interchangeability of vehicles and implements to resolve both the compatibility issue and ensure safety of the installers and workers. The WME Series services a wide field of harsh environment applications from winter and road service vehicles to agricultural, mining and mobile machinery.

SOURIAU, part of Esterline Connection Technologies, is honored to have served as a trusted collaborator to the ESA (European Space Agency) and CNES (French Space Agency) by supplying interconnection components 15 years ago for the Rosetta space mission. The firm supplied various types of connectors for the flight model and is proud to have contributed to this unprecedented ESA success.

Esterline Connection Technologies – Souriau has awarded a dual-source agreement to AB Connectors for the supply of its micro38999 connectors, which are used by many of the group's customers. The agreement guarantees that both manufacturers' micro38999 connectors are intermateable and interchangeable.

Esterline Connection Technologies – Souriau is pleased to announce that, in recognition of its top overall performance, it is the recipient of Airbus' 2013 Best Supplier Award in the category of electrical cables and components. The award was given during a ceremony held in Toulouse, France, on 15 January 2014. This is the sixth time in eight years that Souriau has won this award.

SOURIAU was awarded the Supplier Performance Award by its prestigious customer, SAFRAN, on November 22nd. The ceremony included 450 SAFRAN’s suppliers, and the award acknowledges the excellent results of SOURIAU’s QRQC (Quick Response Quality Control) process implementation. The QRQC program was launched a year ago and has reduced SOURIAU’s product returns by 30% and divided per 2 the average response lead time. SOURIAU was previously named Top Supplier for 2012 by Labinal, the SAFRAN group company dedicated to harnessing activities.
