ANDRITZ selected as supplier for large carbon capture plant in Aarhus, Denmark
ANDRITZ will supply technology for a carbon capture plant in Aarhus, Denmark, capturing 435,000 tons of CO2 annually.

ANDRITZ has received the notice to proceed with the pre-engineering of the plant. The pre-engineering order will be included in ANDRITZ’s order intake in the second quarter of 2025. The project’s implementation is contingent upon Kredsløb receiving funding from the Danish CCS pool, with a decision expected in 2026.

By capturing CO2 originating from the combustion of sustainable biomass, Kredsløb will generate permanent carbon removals, which can be used by companies to compensate for hard-to-abate emissions.”
