Delta, a global leader in power management and smart green solutions, today announced the relocation of its Scottish operations to a new engineering hub and office facility at One Rutherglen Links, Glasgow. The investment marks an important milestone in Delta's long-term commitment to the UK market, providing a modern, collaborative workplace designed to foster innovation, strengthen engineering capabilities and support future business growth. Approximately 40 employees across engineering, sales and support functions will relocate from East Kilbride to the new facility later this year, with capacity to support future expansion.

Strengthening Delta's Engineering Presence in Scotland
Delta has maintained an engineering presence in Scotland for almost three decades, with the site evolving into an important engineering hub within Delta's Industrial Mobility Business. The move strengthens Delta's presence in the Glasgow area, a region with a longstanding industrial and engineering heritage and a strong ecosystem of engineering talent, universities and technology expertise. Today, the team focuses on developing next-generation power conversion technologies for Industrial Electric Vehicles (IEVs) used in material handling, warehouse automation and logistics applications.
The multidisciplinary engineering team brings together expertise in electrical and mechanical engineering, firmware development, PCB layout, automated test engineering, product and project management, enabling the development of high-efficiency battery charging systems, charging modules and DC-DC converters for industrial electric vehicles. Current development focuses on increasing power density, simplifying manufacturing and improving cost efficiency while supporting customers' next-generation electric vehicle platforms. Located adjacent to Junction 2 of the M74 motorway, the new headquarters comprises more than 11,100 square feet of newly refurbished Grade A office space across two floors. Just a 10-minute train journey from Glasgow city centre, with frequent public transport connections and close proximity to several leading technical universities, the location further strengthens Delta's ability to attract talent and collaborate with academic partners.

Open-plan workspaces, breakout areas and communal facilities encourage knowledge sharing while providing employees with a modern and efficient workplace tailored to Delta's ways of working.
Supporting Delta's sustainability ambitions, the building carries an EPC 'A' energy rating and features a modern HVAC system that provides a comfortable working environment while improving overall energy efficiency, as well as dedicated electric vehicle charging facilities.
