Refra to join international Beijer Ref Group

Headquartered in Malmö, Sweden, Beijer Ref is a global refrigeration and HVAC group with approximately 7 000 employees and more than 150 subsidiaries across Europe, North America, Africa, Asia and Oceania. Its extensive international network serves more than 200 000 customers, while its own manufacturing activities focus primarily on environmentally responsible solutions.

Founded in 1994, Refra is an experienced European manufacturer of advanced cooling and heating solutions with natural refrigerants. Backed by more than a decade of hands-on experience in natural cooling technology, Refra designs and manufactures high-quality, safe and energy-efficient refrigeration, air conditioning and heating systems for industrial and commercial applications.

Refra will continue to operate under its own brand and with its existing management team, maintaining the expertise and approach that have shaped the company over more than three decades. The parties have signed a binding agreement. Completion of the transaction remains subject to approval by the Lithuanian competition authority.
