Dispensing Systems for Composite Material Processing

Precise dispensing and mixing of reactive materials are essential in composite manufacturing processes such as bonding, sealing, and resin infusion. Metering accuracy and repeatable mixing directly influence product quality in sectors including automotive, aerospace, and wind energy. In this context, DOPAG will present its dispensing technology portfolio for composite processing at JEC World 2026, taking place 10–12 March in Paris.

Metering and Mixing Systems for Reactive Composite Materials
DOPAG’s dispensing systems are designed to process one- and two-component materials, including polyurethane and epoxy resins, commonly used in composite production. These materials require precise dosing and controlled mixing because curing reactions depend on stable ratios and consistent flow conditions.

The company’s metering and mixing systems are engineered to deliver reproducible dispensing results during continuous or batch production. Such control is particularly relevant in industries where lightweight construction plays a key role, including automotive manufacturing, e-mobility platforms, aerospace structures, and wind turbine rotor blade production.

DOPAG configures its systems according to the requirements of different composite manufacturing processes. These include adhesive bonding, sealing, filament winding, resin transfer molding (RTM), infusion, and pultrusion, each of which requires specific dispensing volumes, mixing technologies, and material viscosity handling.

Components Supporting Process Reliability in Two-Component Systems
At its exhibition stand in Hall 6, Stand E84, DOPAG will also present components designed to support stable processing of two-component (2K) polymer systems.

A gear flow meter monitors and regulates material flow, enabling precise control even when material viscosity changes during processing. This capability is relevant when temperature variations or resin formulations influence rheological properties.

The portfolio also includes a dynamic mixing head, designed to meter and mix polymer reaction materials to maintain homogeneous blends under changing process conditions. For applications requiring simpler system configurations, a static mixing head provides a low-maintenance option for continuous mixing and dispensing operations.

Together, these technologies support consistent dosing and mixing across a range of composite manufacturing processes, where accurate material ratios and stable dispensing conditions determine the mechanical performance and reliability of finished composite structures.
