Honeywell has signed a memorandum of understanding with Kortech, a subsidiary of Hassan Allam Holding, to support the automation and digitalisation of large-scale infrastructure projects across the Middle East and North Africa.

Under the agreement, Honeywell will contribute its automation, control, software, and analytics technologies, while Kortech will provide regional engineering expertise and turnkey infrastructure delivery capabilities. The partnership focuses on data centres, commercial and public buildings, major transportation projects, and smart city developments across Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.

Technically, the collaboration is aimed at deploying integrated building automation systems, digital monitoring, and energy management platforms to improve operational resilience, energy efficiency, and lifecycle performance of critical infrastructure assets. These systems are intended to support real-time control, predictive maintenance, and data-driven optimisation across complex, multi-site projects.

The agreement aligns with regional investment in high-capacity infrastructure and increasing demand for digitally enabled, energy-efficient facilities, particularly in data centre and transport networks. By combining global automation platforms with local execution capability, the partners aim to accelerate project delivery while meeting region-specific operational and regulatory requirements.

The MoU establishes a framework for future project-specific engagements, positioning Honeywell and Kortech to support the next phase of infrastructure modernisation across the MENA region.
