Optimized for accessibility, Elements Lite provides real-time, customizable dashboards for visualizing weather conditions from desktop, tablet, and smartphone devices. The software supports a variety of Vaisala’s weather sensors, including those measuring air temperature, wind speed and direction, visibility, barometric pressure, humidity and precipitation. Additionally, users can configure alarm thresholds tailored to their specific operational requirements.
“Vaisala Elements Lite eliminates guesswork from weather-dependent operations by putting critical data directly into the hands of anyone who needs it, the moment conditions change,” said Panu Partanen, Vice President for Meteorology and Aviation at Vaisala. "Understanding the weather is essential for safe and efficient operations in many industries – from disaster response to agriculture and even space launches. With Elements Lite we are making Vaisala’s trusted weather data and insights more accessible, helping organizations in weather-dependent industries make confident, timely decisions that, safeguard people and critical infrastructure.”

Elements Lite seamlessly integrates with Vaisala Elements Online cloud platform to share weather observations beyond the local network. It incorporates data from products such as the Vaisala Xweather global lightning detection network – recognized as the world’s most accurate lightning intelligence – along with forecasts and maps.
In addition to real-time weather insights, Elements Lite offers advanced charting and data export capabilities and supports multiple protocols and APIs, enabling smooth integration with other systems. Key applications include synoptic observations for meteorological services, disaster response, ports, harbors and coastal monitoring, mining, construction, transport, climatological research, and more.
Elements Lite is a new product in Vaisala’s Elements line, which also includes flexible solutions for offshore aviation and other maritime applications and has been deployed at over 170 locations worldwide.
