Vivitek, a brand of Delta and a leading provider of visual display solutions, is introducing the DK7288Z, a 4K UHD dual-laser projector delivering up to 10,000 lumens of brightness. Its latest Vivid Color technology adds a red laser array to the standard blue laser light source, expanding coverage to 98% of the Rec.709 colour gamut for accurate, true-to-life colour that remains consistent over time.
Built around a maintenance-free projection engine with a light source rated for up to 30,000 hours in Eco Mode, the DK7288Z is designed for venues where screen size and colour performance matter, including museums, immersive spaces, auditoriums and lecture halls. To simplify the installation across a wide range of venue configurations, the DK7288Z offers a range of seven optional motorised lenses, powered lens shift and lens position memory.

Outstanding brightness and colour performance
The DK7288Z’s impressive performance is the result of Vivitek’s latest dual-laser technology, delivering up to 10,000 lumens brightness and a 3,000,000:1 contrast ratio to create vivid images.
The DK7288Z offers exceptional picture clarity in 4K UHD resolution, delivering approximately 8.3 million pixels for exceptional image detail.
An integrated colour sensor automatically monitors and adjusts the light output to help maintain stable brightness and consistent colour performance over extended periods of operation, providing vivid and vibrant true colours even in the most challenging environments.
Optimised energy efficiency
Engineered for greater energy efficiency, the DK7288Z’s improved light engine reduces power consumption by up to 39% compared with previous-generation Vivitek projectors, helping venues lower operating costs.
Installation flexibility for simplified setup
The DK7288Z features powered lens shift and lens position memory, to quickly recall predefined lens positions for fast and accurate installation, providing greater installation flexibility across a wide range of environments.
Powered horizontal and vertical lens shift further simplifies image alignment. The DK7288Z also supports 360-degree installation and portrait orientation, enabling images to be projected onto ceilings, walls, floors or angled surfaces.
In addition, Vivitek’s PJ-Control software can be used to manage multiple projectors over a network, including viewing options, settings and scheduling.
Furthermore, support for the Art-Net protocol makes the DK7288Z ideally suited to staging applications, enabling functions such as power and brightness to be controlled effortlessly via Art-Net networks. The DK7288Z also supports an optional HDBaseT™ interface board (HDBaseT™ SDM: DHS-01), to ensure transmission of high-quality audiovisual content while reducing cabling complexity, installation time and overall deployment costs.
